Liv Morgan Injury Reportedly More Serious Than Initially Believed

It was previously reported that Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder injury that forced WWE to vacate the Women’s tag team championship, held by Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the injury to Morgan was more serious than initially believed, which is why the belts were vacated. It’s believed she may need surgery but that hasn’t ben confirmed at this time.

Rodriguez and Morgan were originally set to drop the belts to Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler soon. Of course, Baszler and Rousey were also planned to win the belts at Wrestlemania to start a new angle for Rousey, but that was also delayed due to a Rousey injury.

Rodriguez will now go for the vacated belts in her new team with Shotzi against Damage CTRL, Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville and Rousey & Baszler on Monday’s RAW.
