Lucha Underground Alum Says He’s Cleared to Return to the Ring

A former Lucha Underground champion is teasing his return to the ring soon. Martin Casaus, who was Marty “The Moth” Martinez in Lucha Underground, posted to Twitter and noted that he’s been cleared to return to the ring. Martinez shared a photo on Twitter that he said was taken by AEW photographer Sadiel Ruiz.

Casaus, who has been training at The Nightmare Factory and has been part of the AEW Dark audience, wrote:

“Holy crap @Speedy_Photo takes amazing photos I had 2 years of people telling me to quit & doctors telling me I’d never wrestle again. Don’t you ever let anyone tell you what YOU can or can’t do What do YOU want to do that people told you you couldn’t? Who likes the look?”

Causus worked a match for All-Star Pro in August of last year, but before that he hadn’t been in the ring in front of audiences since June of 2019.
