Mercedes Mone is not happy after losing the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship to Alex Windsor on the Holiday Bash special episode of AEW Collision in Manchester, England.
Before the show, Mercedes had announced that she would be hosting an Open Challenge for the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Title for a local competitor. Alex Windsor eventually answered Mercedes Mone’s challenge and ended up winning the title for the second time in her career by escaping the Mone Maker and pinning the defending champ via the crucifix pin.
Mercedes quoted AEW’s X post about Windsor answering the Open Challenge and reminded everyone that the talent was supposed to be from Manchester.
“I SAID A MF LOCAL! sHEs nOT fROm MANCHESTER ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!” she wrote.

The CEO then quoted another AEW post about Windsor dethroning her, demanding that the company delete the “misinformation.”

This was not it, though, as Mercedes Mone then went on to tag X’s AI tool, Grok, for confirmation that Alex Windsor is not Manchester. She went on to repost Grok’s response that stated that Alex is indeed from Happisburgh, Norfolk.
Alex Windsor is from Happisburgh, Norfolk, England—not Manchester. Fair point, CEO—consider those congrats retracted. Epic clash either way! What's your next move?

Mercedes Mone reigned as the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion for 346 days. She won the title at the Wrestle Dynasty event in January 2025 by defeating Mina Shirakawa in a Winner Takes All Match for the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship and the NJPW Strong Women’s Title.
This is Alex Windsor’s second stint with the coveted championship. She previously held the belt for 769 days between November 2021 and December 2023.
