Michael Elgin Out of Action Following a Torn Mensicus
December 27, 2018 | Posted by
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Michael Elgin is out of action with knee surgery. Elgin suffered a bucket tear of the meniscus on the November 30th show where he and Jeff Cobb faced Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano. He finished the tour and rested up, but then had meniscus surgery and also minor surgery for a blood clot in his calf, which may have been related to the knee injury and then the flight home from Japan. Yuji Nagata is replacing him in the trio with Jeff Cobb & David Finlay at the Tokyo Dome in the Never title contender gauntlet match.
