MJF Calls Hangman Page Dumb For Risking Future AEW World Title Opportunities at Revolution 2026

AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) has called Hangman Page “dumb” for putting his ability to challenge for the top prize in the company’s men’s division at the upcoming Revolution.

This past Wednesday, on Dynamite, Hangman Page and MJF came face-to-face to discuss their AEW World Title match at Revolution. During the segment, The Cowboy challenged MJF to put his title on the line in a Texas Deathmatch in Los Angeles next month. When Friedman declined, Page proposed that if MJF retains his Triple B in the stipulation match, then he will never challenge for the AEW World Championship.

Following that, AEW announced that MJF and Page would decide on the stipulation for their upcoming match this coming Wednesday on Dynamite. On X, Friedman reacted to the upcoming segment and proceeded to call his opponent “dumb.”

“We both pitch a stipulation. We both have to agree to the stipulation. Hangman’s given his word; if we do, he will never challenge for the world title again. On Wednesday, we decide on the stipulation for our match. It’s not complicated. You’re just dumb,” he wrote.
