MJF Comments On World Title Win at AEW Double Or Nothing

MJF is the new AEW World Champion, and he had a quintessentially MJF-esque comment on the win after the show. As noted, the Salt of the Earth defeated Dabry Allin to become a three-time World Champion in the main event of Sunday’s PPV. He posted to Twitter after the match to give a message to his doubters, writing:

“WERE YOU EXPECTING ME TO ACTUALLY LOSE MY HAIR?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

MORONS!

BEAT THE LITTLE EMO TWINK WITH A HEADLOCK TAKEOVER!

3x WORLD CHAMPION AT 30 YOU FUCKING MARKS!!!!!!!!!”

In beating Allin, MJF saved himself from having his head shaved as he had agreed to put his hair on the line in order to get the title shot.

“As we’ve come to expect fromt the Darby title defenses, this is all geared around Darby taking maximum punishment and then somehow walking away with the victory. Tonight that was not the case, however, and the wheels finally fell off. MJF bald could have been a fun way to go, but this schedule for Darby was only going to last so long, and it opens up some interesting directions for him – does he start to take heed of all that advice about slowing down now, seeing as it cost him his body and his championship?”
