MLW News: Notes on Tonight’s Underground on REELZ, Official Preview, Court Bauer Shares Message to Fans

– PWInsider reports that Matt Striker interviewing Jacob Fatu will kick off tonight’s MLW Underground on REELZ. Also, Alex Hammerston vs. EJ Nduka in a Last Man Standing Match will headline tonight’s show.

The doors to the Underground open as EJ Nduka collides with Hammerstone in a Last Man Standing World Heavyweight Championship bout! TONIGHT!

Two titans. Two champions. One goal: crush, batter and beat the other to the point where he can no longer stand.

The World Heavyweight Championship will be contested for the first-time ever in a physically draining and violent bout which stipulates the only way to victory is to decimate your adversary to the extent that he cannot stand for 10 count. Pinfalls, submissions, count outs, and disqualifications are all out the window.

Entering his second year as the World Heavyweight Champion, Hammerstone is having a banner run, having defended the belt against the best of the best and around the world.

But never before has the Phoenix powerhouse rumbled with such an impressive physical specimen as that of EJ Nduka.

A 3-sport athlete, Nduka competed in the NFL where he astonished with his 42-inch vertical and ability to do the 40 yard in 4.5. He even benched 225 pounds 33 consecutive times.

Driven by an “Undeniable” mantra, Nduka dominated in bodybuilding as a national champion. An IFBB Pro, Nduka has competed in the Arnold Classic and is a Lou Ferrigno Champion.

Bench pressing an uncanny 500 pounds and leg pressing over a ton, Nduka is not just pure power but speed and stamina. A dangerous combo for anyone that dares test the 6’8” skyscraper.

It’s been more than five years since we embarked on bringing back Major League Wrestling. During that time, we’ve introduced a new generation of wrestlers while showcasing gifted talent who had been underappreciated and underutilized elsewhere.

Together we broke through barriers, broadcasting MLW in 60 countries and hitting amazing milestones from live specials to our new Boss Fight Studio action figures to Pay-Per-View.

Along the way, you helped build the foundation of MLW by showing up and supporting us. Whether it’s watching us every week, coming to our shows, spreading the word on social media, buying your favorite MLW shirt or just telling a friend about us. You are the heart of MLW.

We’ve endured a lot together. From a pandemic to billionaires attempting to cripple the hard work so many have put into your league.

For five years MLW has been the best kept secret. Our secret. All we needed was the platform.

Now we have the platform with REELZ. Now we have an opportunity to show the world what Major League Wrestling, its roster and its fans are all about.

Tonight begins a new chapter for us.

Tonight, and every Tuesday at 10pm MLW Underground will be on one of the top 25 networks in cable TV in REELZ.
