– As previously reported, TNA Wrestling announced the firing of Scott D’Amore from his role as president of the company earlier today. Anthony Cicione was appointed as D’Amore’s replacement. Since the news was announced, TNA World Champion Moose has commented on the announcement, writing on social media, “I’m lost for words…..Shutting down for a few days. ✌🏾”
It was reported that D’Amore was well liked by the vast majority of talents in the locker room, and many talents were not happy with today’s news. No reasoning was given for D’Amore’s termination.
