More On Colby Corino Entering Free Agency, WWE & AEW Both Interested

Colby Corino is now a free agent, and he’s quickly become someone of interest to WWE, AEW and the NWA per a new report. As noted earlier this evening, Corino’s contract with the NWA has expired and he is now a free agent.

A new report from Bodyslam.net notes that both WWE and AEW have asked about Corino’s contract and free agency. It is not clear if any official talks have begun at this time. Corino has never appeared for AEW, but did make two appearances in WWE previously. His father, ECW legend Steve Corino, is a trainer at the WWE Performance Center.

The report also significantly notes that Corino is in talks with the NWA about a new contract. However, it’s not currently clear if the two sides will come to a deal.

Colby Corino has been out of action since he underwent spinal surgery in August. His most recent match was for America’s Most Liked Wrestling at AML Battle Scars 2025 on July 27th. He teamed with Shane Williams in a losing effort against AML Tag Team Champions AJ Francis & Bojack.
