Mustafa Ali Expresses His Desire To Have A “Pay-Per-View-Level” Match With Amazing Red In TNA

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) star Mustafa Ali recently expressed his desire to lock horns with Amazing Red in a pay-per-view level match in the future.

Ali recently participated in a virtual signing event for K & S WrestleFest, where he opened up about his match against the former TNA X-Division Champion at a joint show hosted by The Wrestling REVOLVER and the House of Glory in April 2024.

Mustafa Ali admitted that both he and Amazing Red were “very, very hurt” at the time, and while the match itself wasn’t bad, he wants to battle Red in what he termed a “pay-per-view-level” match in TNA now that both are healthier.

“I did get to wrestle him, but not in a capacity I want. Me and Amazing Red [sic] had a match [at] WrestleMania week, right on my Ali World Tour 2024 run. He was very, very hurt, and I was very, very hurt, and not that the match was bad, but I just know a healthy Red and a healthy Ali… Unsung hero is Amazing Red, so I’d love to get Red to come to TNA and do like a pay-per-view-level match with him,” he said. For those unaware, Amazing Red was a part of TNA Wrestling from 2009 to 2011. He is a three-time TNA X-Division Champion. Red recently featured in a video hype package ahead of Mike Santana’s TNA World Championship match against Trick Williams at Bound for Glory. It will be interesting to see if Mustafa Ali and Amazing Red once again lock horns inside the squared circle.
