New Speculation on What Match Will Main Event WrestleMania & Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE may start to downplay Brock Lesnar going forward, due to his contract coming to an end and the thought being that he may go back to the UFC after WrestleMania. Some within WWE feel he will sign a new deal prior to WrestleMania, but publicly, WWE officials are still moving forward with the idea that Lesnar is leaving and part of the mentality right now is to downplay Lesnar on his way out so it won’t look like such a big loss if he does leave. They also hope that this leads to an environment where fans celebrate Lesnar’s departure and rally behind Roman Reigns. This may result in WWE changing the WrestleMania 34 main event from Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns to Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
