NJPW G1 Climax 35 Night 16 Results: Multiple Wrestlers Advance To Playoff Round

New Japan Pro Wrestling held the sixteenth day of its G1 Climax 35 tournament today at Shizuoka Act City Hamamatsu in Japan. Below are the results, courtesy of Fightful:

* Katsuya Murashima & Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Taichi & Masatora Yasuda
* TMDK (Hartley Jackson & Ryohei Oiwa) def. United Empire (Jakob Austin Young & Callum Newman)
* Toru Yano & Boltin Oleg def. HOUSE OF TORTURE (Yoshinobu Kanemaru & SANADA)
* Daiki Nagai & Yota Tsuji def. Shoma Kato & Yuya Uemura
* HOUSE OF TORTURE (Dick Togo & EVIL) def. War Dogs (Gedo & David Finlay)
* G1 Climax 35 B Block: Shingo Takagi (5-4) def. Drilla Moloney (4-5)
* G1 Climax 35 B Block: Zack Sabre Jr (7-2) def. YOSHI-HASHI (4-5)
* G1 Climax 35 B Block: Shota Umino (6-3) def. Great-O-Khan (4-5)
* G1 Climax 35 B Block: Konosuke Takeshita (6-3) def. Ren Narita (5-4)

As a result of their wins, Zack Sabre Jr, Konosuke Takeshita and Shota Umino advanced to the playoff round. ZSJ, along with EVIL, have byes to the semifinals. Takeshita will face David Finlay and Umino will face Yota Tsuji for the remaining two spots in the semifinals. Here are the updated standings:
