Paige is back in WWE, and she posted video of her immediate reaction to learning that she was cleared to return to the ring. As noted, Paige made her return at WrestleMania 42 when she replaced the injured Nikki Bella and teamed with Brie Bella in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match. She has reportedly signed a multi-year deal with the company.
Paige posted a video to Instagram of her emotional reaction to finding out that she had been cleared by WWE. She was crying and said that she was emotional because it’s been a “long f**king road for me, trying to get sober and s**t. You know, putting the right people around me. It just feels good.”
She captioned the post:
“The day I found out I was cleared to come home to @wwe
What an emotional journey. Thank you @gilbertboyas for being there and capturing this moment!
It was a long road but man it was worth it!! Thank you everyone for the love since I returned, it means the absolute world to me.
This is my house.”
Paige was famously not cleared to compete by the company after she suffered a neck injury during the 2017 WWE Holiday Tour. The company refused to clear her, and she stayed out of the ring until she joined AEW and competed against Britt Baker at AEW Full Gear 2022. She left AEW in March of 2025.
She and Brie Bella captured the Tag Team Championships at night one of the PLE.
