Participants, Dates, Rules Revealed For AEW Continental Classic, Matches Added to Dynamite & Collision

The AEW Continental Classic Selection special has taken place and the participants for both blocks have been revealed. The blocks are named the Blue and Gold Leagues and include the following:
BLUE LEAGUE:
Bryan Danielson
Eddie Kingston
Andrade el Idolo
Brody King
Claudio Castagnoli
Daniel Garcia
GOLD LEAGUE:
Jon Moxley
Swerve Strickland
Rush
Mark Briscoe
Jay Lethal
Jay White
The rules were also revealed. They include
* 20-minute time limit
* 3 points for a win
* 1 point for a draw
* Everyone (seconds, teammates) banned from ringside
The round robin tournament begins on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite. It continues at the following events:
AEW Collision, Pittsburgh: November 25
AEW Dynamite, Minneapolis: November 29
AEW Collision, Erie (PA): December 2
AEW Collision, Montreal: December 5
AEW Dynamite, Montreal: December 6
AEW Dynamite, Arlington (TX): December 13
AEW Collision, Garland (TX): December 16
AEW Dynamite, Oklahoma City: December 20
AEW Collision, San Antonio: December 23
AEW Dynamite, Orlando: December 27 (GROUP FINALS)
AEW Worlds End, Long Island (NY): December 30 (TOURNAMENT FINALS)
The following tournament matches were announced for tonight’s AEW Dynamite:
* Rush vs. Jay White
* Swerve Strickland vs. Jay Lethal
* Jon Moxley vs. Mark Briscoe
Finally, two matches were announced for Saturday’s Collision:
* Daniel Garcia vs. Claudio Castagoli
* Eddie Kingston vs. Brody King
The winner will get a Triple Crown championship, getting the new Continental Championship, as well as Eddie Kingston’s ROH World and NJPW STRONG Openweight championships.
