R-Truth Comments on WWE Denying Andreas Hale’s WrestleMania 42 Credentials, Slams ESPN Reporter

As previously reported, ESPN reporter Andreas Hale announced yesterday that he’s not covering WrestleMania 42 for the outlet as his credentials for the event were denied by WWE, and his access has been blocked. Now, WWE Superstar and Tag Team Champion R-Truth has responded to Hale, insulting the journalist.

Andreas Hale wrote yesterday (Apr. 18), “I will not be covering #WrestleMania for ESPN. WWE denied my credentials and blocked my access. Neither I nor ESPN has been told why. You can speculate on the reasons, but if you want answers, ask WWE. Let me know what they tell you. ~FIN~” R-Truth later responded with his own reasoning, writing, “‘Cause you a ***** ass 🥷That’s why🤷🏾‍♂️… I said what I said.”

For some background, with the controversial story unfolding, various fans have been sharing screenshots of past derogatory comments Hale wrote regarding R-Truth back in 2015. In a tweet dated July 20, 2015, Hale wrote, “Get R-Truth outta here. Lesnar should just kill him for coon-ing.” As of today, the 2015 tweet is still up.

Hale appeared to be critiquing R-Truth’s role in a WWE Raw segment, featuring a brawl between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker, on that date. You can read R-Truth’s comments to Hale below. Based on R-Truth’s tweet earlier today, one can assume that he’s been made aware of Hale’s comments from 2015.
