Raquel Rodriguez Says She and Liv Morgan Are ‘Literally Sisters’

During a recent interview with The Wrestling Classic, WWE Superstar Raquel Rodriguez discussed her relationship with her Judgment Day teammates, Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez. Below are some highlights:
Raquel Rodriguez on Her Sisterhood With Liv Morgan
“Yeah, you know, it’s funny because at the beginning it was not together at all. You know, I met her once when I first started at the PC. Um, we were in opposite classes, so we had opposite schedules while we were both there. So, we really didn’t like run in the same crowds other than if we were at like a Coconut Loop or working together or whatever it may be. And we do have some pictures, actually, from like my first match in NXT with her, and we’re tagging, I think. Um, but what a crazy [laughter] we’re tagging. We’re tagging. So, it didn’t happen as fast at the beginning, but then when I got called up to the main roster, and they kind of threw us together as a tag team, I think we both realize that we do have a lot in common. Um, we have the same mindset when it comes to wrestling, when it comes to preparing, and that just kind of like bonded us really, really quickly. I think we both just really wanted what was best, not only for each other, but for ourselves, and that made us be able to work together really well and elevate and become as close as we’ve become. We’re literally sisters.”
On Taking Roxanne Perez Under Her Wing
“Oh my gosh. You know, I hold a little resentment against Liv because of this, because when Roxanne first got introduced into the judgment day, which I’ve known Roxanne for a long time, too. We have history as well. Liv was like, ‘Oh my god, it’s like they’re giving us this baby and we have to raise this baby on the main roster, and we have to like show her how to live and to be a grown-up.” And then she gets hurt, and she leaves me like a single mother. I was like, ‘Oh [laughter] my god, I got to do this alone.’ You So, there was an immense amount of pressure, not just on me to like keep elevating myself coming back from injury and and showing them that I can compete and I can be a part of this women’s roster and be a threat uh for this women’s roster, but I also wanted to be there for Roxanne and to help guide her and because I know how difficult it can be coming to the main roster for the first time and being so young. Um, I can only imagine what it’s been like for her. But, it’s I mean, it’s brought us all closer together. It’s made us really, really strong. I think it makes what we do together on and off the screen so natural. and it’s just it’s it’s memories that I love to live with both of them.”
Her Advice for Liv Morgan Against Stephanie Vaquer
“I think the advice I would give for Liv is definitely, and I don’t even feel like I have to give her this advice after the last Monday when she got that egg on her head, is just to be prepared and watch her back. Like Stephanie’s tricky. You know, she comes from obviously a um more what’s it called? Indie level of background, and so I think it could be a little bit more scrappier, probably. She comes with like that fighting energy, and she’ll do whatever it takes, as will Liv, as will any of us, but I think there is something to watch with Stephanie for sure, and so Liv already knows that. Um, there’s really no advice I could give her going into this.”
Liv Morgan was successful at WrestleMania 42 last Saturday, beating Stephanie Vaquer to win the Women’s World Title. Unfortunately for The Judgment Day, Dominik Mysterio lost to Finn Balor the following night. Also, JD McDonagh failed to win the WWE Intercontinental Title.
