Former WWE Superstar Ridge Holland has provided another update on his ongoing situation amid his controversial departure from the company.
On the latest edition of Busted Open Radio, the English pro wrestler revealed that WWE will be covering the cost of his upcoming neck fusion surgery.
Luke Menzies (Ridge Holland) says on Busted Open just now WWE is paying for his upcoming neck fusion surgery – that will have him out of action until at least May.

This is a surprising development, given that WWE recently terminated Holland’s contract ahead of its expiry date. Fightful Select has since reported that WWE terminated the contract due to Ridge violating a rule that prohibits signed talents from disparaging the company. However, the promotion will cover Ridge’s rehabilitation costs.
This came after the former NXT star accused WWE of abandoning him while he was injured. Ridge suffered a foot injury during a TNA taping this past September. He has also been dealing with a neck injury. The surgery is set to keep him away from in-ring action until at least May 2026.
Following his social media outbursts, a family member created a GoFundMe, which gained support from fans as well as WWE and AEW talents. However, Ridge later revealed that he was not aware of the same and apologized to fans, stating it would be soon shut down and that he plans to donate the proceeds to charity.
