Fightful Select has more details on people who were in attendance at last night’s WWE Saturday Night’s Match event to witness the last match of John Cena. With the show being held in Washington, D.C., many thought President Donald Trump might attend. President Donald Trump and former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon were not in attendance, but one politician who was there was United States Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
As previously reported, although Vince McMahon was not in attendance at the event, he did appear in a video package that aired after Cena’s final match on the show. Additionally, Fightful reports that neither Trump nor Vince McMahon were planned to appear. Also, it’s said that no one was told they would be there.
Also, PWInsider reports that McMahon’s estranged wife, Linda McMahon, was reportedly in attendance as well. Linda McMahon currently serves in President Trump’s administration as the United States Secretary of Education.
PWInsider also notes that Vince and Linda’s son, Shane McMahon, was not in attendance last night. As previously noted, Triple H’s wife, former WWE President Stephanie McMahon, was there and took part in the broadcast coverage. She also appeared after Cena’s match when the whole locker room emptied to pay their respects to Cena.
Stephanie McMahon has already been announced as an inductee for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026, set for later next WrestleMania season.
