ROH Women’s World Title Match Set For Global Wars Cincinnati

Athena will defend the ROH Women’s World Championship at Global Wars Cincinnati later this month. It was announced on this week’s ROH On HonorClub that Athena will defend her title against Syuri at the show. Athena made the reveal during a backstage promo earlier in the show.

ROH Global Wars Cincinnati will feature talent from ROH, CMLL, and STARDOM and takes place on June 18th. The show will air on HonorClub. Athena vd. Syuri is the first match announced for the show thus far.

Athena has held the ROH Women’s World Championship for 1270 days, having defeated Mercedes Martinez for the title ROH Final Battle 2022. She has defended the title 36 times most recently in a Survival of the Fittest match at Supercard of Honor against Yuka Sakazaki, Billie Starks, Maya World, Trish Adora, and Zayda Steel.
