Royce Keys Teases ‘How Could He Do That?’ Moment Coming Up

Royce Keys has suggested that he could have a “shocking” moment coming up that will have fans questioning “how could he do that?” The WWE Smackdown star made the tease during a recent interview with Witty Whittier when asked where he wants to see his character go in the next few months.

Keys, who has had a brush with the main event scene on Smackdown, has been picking up wins and having interactions with Solo Sikoa of late. You can see highlights from the conversation below:

On What He’s Enjoying Most In His WWE Work So Far:

“Thing I’m doing more that I didn’t do [much] of was actually talk on the mic, you know? So I’ve been doing that every week and it’s just — things that I’ve been saying, it’s just me. And it connects with some people. So that that’s what it’s all about, connecting with your audience.

“The wrestling is the wrestling, that’s what we do. But you know, you got to have the stuff to connect with the people. And I love doing the outside charity work, pulling up every week to the arena, meeting the fans and doing stuff with the Boys and Girls Club. So it’s all that I look forward to every week.”

On Where He Wants To See His Character Evolve:

“I think before this year is up, I’ll have some gold around my waist. That’s the plan. And I think there will be a moment that — it’s going to shock everyone that no one won’t expect. I have a feeling, it’s going to be one of those moments that I feel it’ll be like, ‘How could he do that?’ You know, one of those moments. ”
