Ryback Names the Two Safest Wrestlers He Worked With

Hearing Ryback comment on safe wrestlers might seem a bit ironic, given that some of his former opponents like Seth Rollins and CM Punk would decidedly not call him that. But for what it’s worth, he has named the two stars who he says were always the safest.

Posting on X, he first notes, “at the professional level, the degree of separation is usually very small. Just like with anything else, once you reach the highest level, everyone is extremely good at what they do. Throughout my career, pretty much everyone I worked with was safe, and I never really had any issues with anyone being consistently unsafe. The reality is, if someone truly wasn’t safe to work with, they probably wouldn’t last very long on a WWE main roster.”

“With that said, two guys who always stood out to me were Dolph Ziggler and The Miz. Both of them worked incredibly light, and I always felt very comfortable working with them.”

In a video attached to the post, he acknowledges being good friends with both still. And his thoughts may explain why Miz and Ziggler/Nic Nemeth continue to have career longevity long after being in WWE main events.
