Sam Adonis Says Nothing Has Negatively Hurt His Career More Than Being Called ‘Corey’s Brother’

Wrestler Sam Adonis, the real-life brother of WWE broadcaster and former NXT Superstar Corey Graves wrote about his experience on social media on how being branded “Corey’s brother” negatively affected his career.
Sam Adonis wrote, “NOTHING has negatively affected my career more than being ‘Corey’s Brother.’ Few wrestlers have accumulated the diverse knowledge and experience I have worldwide aside from drawing actual money.” He continued, “Still, to so many I’ve been reduced to nothing more than ‘Corey’s brother’s in Mexico.'”
The freelance wrestler has competed in AAA, House of Glory, and MLW. As noted, Adonis recently revealed in an interview that he turned down a contract offer with AAA before WWE/TKO acquired the company. You can view Adonis’ comments from his X account below:
