Sami Zayn Appears On WWE Smackdown As New Member Of Brand

Sami Zayn is back on the Blue Brand, officially joining the WWE Smackdown roster on this week’s show. Friday’s show saw Zayn come down to the ring and interrupt Solo Sikoa, who was cutting a promo flanked by the MFTs about how they run the brand and how they stomped out Zayn on Raw.

Zayn came to the ring and said he was just there to talk, saying he was announced that he was cost a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship but he also felt liberated. He noted that now he can focus on other things and said he’d never been US Champion, announcing that he was no on Smackdown and would be taking Sikoa’s title.

That led to a brawl with Jimmy Uso and then Jacob Fatu coming down to even the odds, which brought out Nick Aldis to book a six-man tag team match for the main event.
