A former WWE star made their debut at the ROH tapings on Sunday, and a new report says they’re under contract. Fightful Select reports that Tehuti Miles, the former Ashante Thee Adonis, made his debut at the taping on Sunday.
According to the report, Miles has actually been signed to AEW since the first week of September. He exited WWE when his contract expired on August 10th, 2025. The report notes that some where surprised that he signed without working independent dates, something which has happened rarely in terms of ex-WWE talent coming into AEW as the company has been careful about who they sign straight out of WWE.
Miles was expected to have interest from TNA, where his former Hit Row stablemate AJ Francis works, but there has been no word of specific talks between him and that company. Swerve Strickland, who is of course a star in AEW, was also part of Hit Row in WWE. The report makes no mention of Strickland in relation to Miles.
ROH is holding Sunday’s tapings at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida which was announced by Tony Khan to be the new regular home of the promotion.
