During a recent chat with Bootleg Kev on his podcast, AEW star and former World Champion Swerve Strickland was asked why he no longer uses his “Big Pressure” theme in AEW. Strickland commented, “Ask the lawyers,” in response (via Fightful).

Swerve continued on “Big Pressure,” “It’s so crazy, yeah. It worked in a great time. I got fans that are happy with it (new theme).” When asked about why he changed his already very popular entrance theme and no longer uses “Big Pressure” anymore, Swerve said, “I decided not to.”

Bootleg Kev then asked if it was a legal issue, and Swerve repeated, “Ask the lawyers on that one… It was (a great theme). Got a lot of mileage out of it in the first three years.”

Swerve Strickland is set to compete in the 2026 Men’s Owen Hart Tournament. He faces off against Bandido in the quarterfinals at AEW Double or Nothing 2026. The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 24.

AEW Double Or Nothing 2026 will be held at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. It will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
