Swerve Strickland Undergoes Surgery

Swerve Strickland revealed on Instagram today that he has undergone surgery to repair his torn meniscus. Strickland suffered the torn meniscus back in 2019 and had been working with the injury since then. He finally decided to get it repaired following AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door this past weekend.
Strickland lost to Kazuchika Okada at Forbidden Door and Okada violently attacked Strickland’s knee after the match.
It remains to be seen how long Strickland will be out for.
