Tatum Paxley will have her first WWE Smackdown match on next week’s show, as announced on Friday’s episode. The company announced on Friday’s episode that the former NXT Women’s Champion will compete in her first match on the Blue Brand against Michin.
The match was set up in a backstage segment where Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Paxley ran into Jade Cargill, B-Fab and Michin. After some back and forth, Michin challenged Paxley to a match next week which was accepted.
Tatum Paxley made her WWE TV main roster debut on the August 7th episode of Smackdown. She appeared during Flair’s match with Cargill and helped take out Michin and B-Fab so Flair would have the odds evened and pick up the win.
WWE Smackdown is being taped on Monday alongside WWE Raw at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario and will air Friday night on USA Network and Netflix internationally. Paxley vs. Michin is the only match announced thus far.
