Former ECW and WWE talent The Blue Meanie recently provided a concerning update on his current status.
Earlier today, the 53-year-old took to Instagram to reveal that he is currently dealing with broken ribs after suffering a fall recently and is in a huge amount of pain.
The veteran also revealed that he is currently coming to terms with a death in his family.
Here’s what he wrote:
“If you’re trying to reach me and I haven’t replied, I am dealing with broken ribs after a fall. I’m in a huge amount of pain. On top of that, I’ve had a death in the family. If you have any special vibes to send my way, I can really use them. Thank you!”
The Blue Meanie is known for his time in Extreme Championship Wrestling and the then-WWF during the mid-to-late 1990s. He had a short stint with the company in 2005, when he infamously feuded with JBL. In 2021, he made a cameo appearance in AEW on an episode of Dark: Elevation.
Meanie most recently wrestled on January 3, 2026, when he participated in a 21-Man Over The Top Rope Poughkeepsie Rumble at an event conducted by Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW).
411Mania wishes The Blue Meanie a speedy recovery.
