The Rascalz got off to a winning start in AEW as Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz were victorious in tag team action on last night’s AEW Collision. Saturday night’s show featured the Xavier and Wentz competing in an AEW ring for the first time as they battled CRU’s Action Andretti and Lio Rush. With their stablemate Myron Reed at ringside, Xavier and Wentz went the distance against CRU and picked up the victory at just under 12 minutes.
After a back and forth high-flying affair, Wentz and Xavier picked up the win with their Hot Fire Flame finishing maneuver on Andretti. It marks the first match for the group since they signed on with AEW before the January 14th episode of Dynamite.
Outside of the ring, the Rascalz have had a bit of a bumpy road over the last couple of weeks as Trey Miguel signed to AEW along with the group, but was released after someone above the AEW level took issue with a past comment made by Miguel online. Miguel initially said that he was taking a hiatus from wrestling but instead re-signed with TNA and made his return at TNA Genesis 2026.
Last night’s AEW Collision also saw another high-profile in-ring debut as Tommaso Ciampa captured the AEW TNT Championship from Mark Briscoe in his first match.
