Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson missed more than 25% of the TKO Group Holdings board meetings in 2025, according to the company’s annual SEC proxy filing. The report notes he missed several of the scheduled meetings due to prior commitments.
Each incumbent director of TKO attended at least 75% of the board meetings, except The Rock. Despite his absence, The Rock earned $900,000 in royalties under his potentially decade-long merchandising agreement. The deal dates back to January 2024, when he joined TKO as an independent contractor under the WWE-UFC merger structure. He also earned $600,000 in travel reimbursements for delivering services under the Johnson Services Agreement. These appearances include WWE programming, such as the Netflix debut of WWE RAW on January 6, followed by WWE NXT the next night, and the Elimination Chamber premium live event.
The Rock is also fully vested in a $30 million Class A stake in TKO, which he will earn as part of the arrangement. Additionally, Seven Bucks Productions, which he co-founded, received less than $120,000 for work related to a potential unscripted project described in customary terms.
Earlier reporting from Dave Meltzer has noted that organizers in Saudi Arabia are interested in securing The Rock for WrestleMania 43, though no official announcement has been made. He also noted that The Rock would receive “the largest offer ever made for someone to do a pro wrestling show” to confirm his involvement.
At this stage, the information remains based on financial disclosures and external reporting.
