The Sandman Explains Why He Rejected a WWE Legends Contract Offer

Count The Sandman out for a WWE Legends contract. During a recent appearance on The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, former ECW legend The Sandman commented on WWE Legends’ contracts, noting that he hasn’t signed one, claiming that he’s never heard anyone say one good thing about WWE Legends deal.

The former ECW World Champion reveals he rejected an offer to sign a Legends contract. The Sandman commented (via Fightful), “No, I don’t. No, they asked. I was like, no Legends deal. Well, because nobody ever said a good thing about a legends deal. I never heard one person say a good thing about them signing a legends deal.”

Although The Sandman hasn’t signed a Legends deal, he has made brand deals with other WWE partners, such as Mattel and 2K Games, as action figures of Sandman have been made in the Mattel action figure line, and he’s also a playable character in WWE 2K25.
