Thunder Rosa recently revealed her favorite WrestleMania memory, which comes from her only time attending the show, and discussed her very busy WrestleCon schedule. The AEW star worked three matches at the WrestleMania week convention in less than 24 hours, something she detailed in an interview with SoCalVal for WrestlingNews.co that took place at the convention.
Rosa spoke about her matches for Ladies Night Out, World of Lucha, and Texas Wrestling Cartel before being asked about her favorite WrestleMania memory. She noted that she attended WrestleMania 25, where Santina Marella won the Miss WrestleMania battle royal. You can see highlights from Rosa’s comments below:
On Her WrestleCon Experience:
“[Absolute] insanity. I had three matches in 16 hours, I will never do this again… so Ladies Night Out was the only women’s wrestling show. I was going to say American, because we had STARDOM, we had Tokyo Joshi Pro. But we had about 17 matches on Thursday… we had over 400 people there. I was the main event, which was incredibly difficult because I had zero sleep, Val. I had insomnia the night before.
“So the next day, I had a match at 11 o’clock at World of Lucha with Julissa [Mexa], another Mexicana, which is a very talented woman. And then right after that, I had a match for Texas Wrestling Cartel where I defended my championship with Fallon Grey, WWE ID prospect, very talented young woman too.”
On Her Favorite WrestleMania Memory:
“I will say when I went to my first Mania, and the only Mania that I’ve been. It was WrestleMania 25 when they had that rumble with the women. And remember, Santino Marella’s sister won?”
