Thunder Rosa On Getting Left Out of Owen Hart Cup, Deonna Purrazzo Being In Tournament
Thunder Rosa recently reacted to her not being in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament while Deonna Purrazzo got a spot in it. Purrazzo will face Hikaru Shida in the first round of the tournament and Rosa, who has had a heated feud with Purrazzo spoke about her rival being in the tournament over her on Busted Open Radio.
“To add more insult to injury, I looked at [Dynamite] this Wednesday [and] the Owen Hart, and my name wasn’t even there,” she said (h/t to per Wrestling Inc). “And I’m like ‘Okay, that’s fine.’ And then I see her damn name…She not only beat me on Saturday, but she took my place.”
Rosa continued, “But that’s okay…I don’t need a tournament to show that I can go to Wembley. One way or another, I’m going to go to Wembley. I don’t need the tournament to get another opportunity for the Women’s World Title, because I know I can do it again with no damn tournament. I’m above that.”
The winner of the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Tournaments will get world title shots at All In.
