Thunder Rosa Signs Dual Contract With CMLL & AEW

Thunder Rosa is officially a two-promotion star, signing a duel CMLL and AEW deal as announced on Friday. As Fightful notes, the former AEW Women’s World Champion appeared at CMLL’s show on April 3rd and it was announced that she had signed a dual contract with both promotions.

The move was widely expected, as was reported by Fightful earlier in the day. Rosa said in an article for RECORD that she would be working with CMLL for the rest of the year.

Rosa joins Hechicero, Claudio Castagnoli, Persephone, Mascara Dorada, and Mistico as stars who are on contracts with both AEW and CMLL. She last competed in AEW on the March 4th episode of AEW Dynamite, where she took on Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Thekla won the match to retain her title.
