Timothy Thatcher Announced As New General Manager Of WWE EVOLVE

Timothy Thatcher has a new on-screen role in WWE, being named the General Manager of WWE EVOLVE. Wednesday night’s episode of EVOLVE saw Robert Stone come out and announce that the former NXT in-ring star is taking on the authority figure role in EVOLVE.

Stone noted in his promo that EVOLVE is the future of WWE, and that the brand needs authority. The NXT General Manager said he and Shawn Michaels came up with the perfect person to run the place before introducing Thatcher and announcing that he is the new GM of the developmental brand. Thatcher has been a regular in EVOLVE and is a player/coach for WWE ID. He remains active on the independent scene as an in-ring competitor and was part of the NXT roster from 2020 to 2022. He was brought back into the company to work with the WWE ID program late last year. Outside of WWE, he has worked for promotions like DEFY, Warrior Wrestling, West Coast Pro and more.
