Triple H Congratules Nia Jax and Lash Legend Following Tag Titles Victory on WWE SmackDown

As previously noted, Nia Jax and Lash Legend scored a huge upset last night on WWE SmackDown, beating RHIYO (Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky) to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. After the match, WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque celebrated the win with the new champs and congratulated them on social media.

Triple H shared a video on his X account of him posing with the new champs for the customary pointing photo. He also wrote in the caption, “Irresistible Forces, undeniable talent. Congratulations to @lashlegendwwe and @LinaFanene. #Smackdown”

Jax and Legended ended RHIYO’s title reign at 54 days. It marks the first WWE title win of Legend’s career. This is the third WWE Women’s Tag Team title for the 41-year-old Nia Jax, who previously held the belts twice with Shayna Baszler.

Despite her major title loss, Rhea Ripley will now have to turn around and step up to compete in the women’s Elimination Chamber match later tonight. She’ll be competing against Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Kiana James, Raquel Rodriguez, and Tiffany Stratton.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 is being held at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. It will air live on the ESPN App in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
