Update On LA Knight Amid Absence From WWE TV

LA Knight hasn’t been seen on WWE TV for a few weeks, and a new report has a bit of context around his disappearance. Knight last appeared on the April 27th episode of WWE Raw. At the time, it seemed as if he might end up in a program with Gunther, but Gunther has since moved to Smackdown for a feud with Cody Rhodes. Knight hasn’t been seen for the last couple of weeks of Raw and is not advertised for tonight’s show.

Fightful Select reports that they asked about his absence, sources in WWE who are familiar with the situation said it was a “non-story” and that Knight is just off of television for the time being.

The reports adds that according to sources who were pressed on the matter, it is not the result of an injury, a pay dispute, or anything related to the recent roster cuts and contract restructurings that led to the New Day exiting.

Said sources also confirmed that creative plans for a number of talent changed quickly following Wrestlemania, though specific details on that are not clear.
