Update On Proceedings Against Liv Morgan Stalker Following Insanity Verdict

A new report has an update on Shawn Chan, the man who was found not guilty by reason of insanity of interstate domestic violence for stalking Liv Morgan. As noted, Chan was given a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity on the charge. Chan had traveled from Canada to Florida and visited Morgan’s home before being arrested at the WWE Performance Center.
PWInsider reports that Chan is currently being held by the Department of Homeland Security and the deportation process is ongoing. Chan was living in Canada but was born in Hong Kong, and it is not yet clear where he will be deported to.
Chan traveled from Scarborough, Ontario, to Orlando, Florida in May of 2025 reportedly told customs officials that he planned to stay at the WWE Performance Center. He then allegedly d several hours to Morgan’s home, circled the property multiple times before entering through the backyard, and unsuccessfully attempted to access the front door. He ultimately left a note with his name, Canadian address, and phone number.
He was arrested on June 3, 2025, at the WWE Performance Center after security personnel reportedly recognized him in surveillance footage from the earlier incident at Morgan’s home.
