A trio of reports have an update on Triple H’s WWE contract status following comments made by Nick Khan earlier today. As noted, Khan reportedly had an internal meeting with WWE staff and confirmed that The Game will continue in his role as Chief Content Officer. It was noted by POST Wrestling that it wasn’t clear if Khan was talking about an extension of Triple H’s contract or just a verbal affirmation of his work as CCO.
Fightful Select, Bodyslam+, and interview heading into the PLE where he said:
“You know, it’s a funny thing when people will say like — you know, if you’re online or you hear fans talking and they’re like, ‘I didn’t like that.’ Yeah, I know. Believe me, I’m the first guy going, ‘That didn’t work. That wasn’t good. We screwed up there.’ Sometimes you’re putting things out there, you’re like, ‘Eh, this’ll be decent. This is not going to be A++.’ It has to ebb and flow throughout the year.”
