Update on Wes Lee Following Recent Injury

As previously reported, Wes Lee was said to have been hurt following his match at the Main Event tapings this week. It was believed that he was ‘banged up’ and had an issue with his foot or ankle. PWInsider reports that Lee has been cleared to return to the ring. He took part in an NXT TV taping that happened yesterday at the WWE Performance Center (which airs December 31).

He had been seen in a walking boot after his Main Event match, then went back to Florida in the boot. He wasn’t at the NXT tapings in Lowell, MA on Tuesday.
