Will Ospreay has been out of action since July due to a neck injury, and a new report has an update on his recovery. As reported, the AEW star was written off TV at All In: Texas and has since undergone surgery to repair herniated discs. Fightful Select reports that Ospreay has been working out in the ring ahead of shows of late and that “things look promising” for him to be able to return at the level that he was previously competing at.

The site notes that there’s word of a possible spring return for the star, and of course the hope that AEW can factor him into plans for All In: London 2026. Note that the key word there is “possble” and that no such window is confirmed at this time.

A video package for Ospreay aired on the February 4th episode of AEW Dynamite to hype his eventual return. Tony Khan said in an interview the week after:

“I talk to Will Ospreay a lot, and he’s doing very, very well and on the road to recovery, which is incredible news for AEW. Because Will Ospreay’s one of our greatest stars we’ve ever had. And AEW’s a better place anytime Will Ospreay is involved in any aspect of All Elite Wrestling.”
