WWE Reportedly Set To Receive $6 Million From LVCVA For WrestleMania 42 In Las Vegas

WWE is reportedly set to receive a hefty sum from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) for the 42nd edition of WrestleMania.

According to LV Sports Biz, LVCVA is set to approve a $6 million payout to World Wrestling Entertainment for The Show of Shows next April. The decision is set to be finalized at the next board meeting, which is scheduled for November 12.

The website further noted that LVCVA CEO Steve Hill is a huge fan of WrestleMania, and he has allegedly detailed the benefits of hosting The Show of Shows in previous meetings.

Below is the meeting agenda item on the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s plan to allocate $6 million to WWE (via LV Sports Biz):

“For the second year in a row, Las Vegas will serve as the stage for WWE’s premier event, marking the first time any city has hosted back-to-back WrestleManias since 1989. In 2025, WrestleMania 41 attracted 124,000 fans to Allegiant Stadium and generated more than 140,000 estimated incremental room nights tied to the weeklong series of WWE events. In addition to the two-night Allegiant Stadium event that will take place April 18-19, 2026, WWE will bring Raw, SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver, WWE World, and the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to Las Vegas, as well as a variety of community outreach events designed to give back to Southern Nevada.”

WWE is set to return to Allegiant Stadium for the second year running to host WrestleMania next April. This will be the first time since 1989 that The Showcase of the Immortals will emanate from the same city. As always, the company is set to schedule a whole host of events, such as SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver, and the Hall of Fame ceremony, among others, for the WrestleMania weekend.

It must be noted that WrestleMania 42 was originally set to take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on April 11 and 12, 2026. However, the company later announced that it would instead be held at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, a week later on April 18 and 19. New Orleans will now host the 2026 edition of the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event on September 6.
