WWE Hall Of Famer Steve Austin Wins Off-Road Racing Class

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin has added another win to his off-road racing career after taking first place in the Stock Mod class at the Night Vision 250 in Fallon, Nevada.

The WWE Hall of Famer claimed the class victory while driving his No. 316 truck for Broken Skull Racing. Austin also placed 13th overall in a field of 36 drivers. His official finishing time was 5:46:25. Bobby Pearce won the overall race in the Unlimited Truck class with a time of 4:41:42, according to the event’s official results.

After the race, Austin shared details of the night on Instagram and revealed it wasn’t an easy drive from start to finish. He said they qualified eighth and were running “really good” before some issues forced them to “race at a conservative pace.” The WWE Hall of Famer added that they have already inspected the truck and started repairs before its next race in five weeks.

“Some footage from the Night Vision 250 race last weekend. We qualified 8th and were running really good for almost a lap when some issues came up. We ran most of the race at a conservative pace to cross the finish line and get podium points. I was surprised we won our class. We looked at the car last night and are working on the fix for the next race in 5 weeks.”

He also recalled one of the biggest moments of the race. According to Austin, another vehicle kicked a large rock onto the course. With little time to react, he chose to drive over it instead of risking a harder impact.

“Midway thru the race a huge rock was kicked out in the middle of the course. We had just dodged a previous rock and this was a race ending situation as this was the kind of rock that would rip a complete front corner off the car. I squared up and went right over the top of it. The impact rattled the skeletons of both myself and my co driver. The front bumper and skid plate built by @teixeiratech took most of the damage and protected the car for the most part. The H2 shot up in the air, came back down, and we kept going. That could have easily taken us out of the race. But we got by, and promptly marked it as a DANGER for the next few laps. I did not want to hit that sucker again…”

Austin concluded by praising the Fallon course, describing it as rough, rocky, slippery, and fun.

“That Fallon, NV course is rough, rocky, slippery, and fun.
Our @bajadesigns lights were great, but we did not get to test them prior to race. Vision was a problem during the night portion of the race. We will def do our night testing for VC-Tonopah.”

The result marks another class victory as Austin continues building his off-road racing resume alongside his Hall of Fame wrestling career.
