UPDATE: Santos Escobar Reportedly Re-Signs With WWE

UPDATE: Santos Escobar’s time away from WWE was apparently short, as he’s reportedly re-signed with the company. PWInsider Elite reports (per WrestlingNews.co that Escobar has signed a new deal to stay with the company. The new deal comes just a couple of days after his contract expired.
According to the report, WWE took Escobars concerns about wanting to have a creative plan for him in place into consideration. He was given an offer that was “sizably larger” than previous offers and the two sides are believed to have reached an aggrement yesterday.
No word on when Escobar may be back on TV. He posted to Twitter this morning with two pics of himself, one of them masked as you can see below:

ORIGINAL: WWE is reportedly looking to get Santos Escobar back after he exited the company earlier this week. As reported on Monday, Escobar’s contract expired as of Tuesday and he turned down an offer to re-sign as he wanted a clear vision for how he would be used and didn’t want to be “spinning his wheels” backstage. PWInsider reports that it is believed within WWE that the company is continuing to try and bring him back.
It was noted yesterday that people in WWE expected him to leave for some time, and expect that he will Escobar sign with AEW.
