WWE Smackdown Rating Up, Viewership Dips Before WrestleMania

– The rating for this week’s episode of Smackdown saw a rise in the ratings and a drop in total viewers ahead of WrestleMania. Tuesday’s episode brought in a 0.79 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.467 million viewers. Those numbers are up 1% and down 4%, respectively, from last week’s 0.78 and 2.576 million viewers. The demo rating was still below the 0.99 from two weeks ago, while the viewership was the lowest since February 13th’s 2.449 million.
Smackdown ranked #1 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily. The show beat out HGTV’s Fixer Upper (0.73 demo rating, 3.268 million viewers) for the top spot.
