We have an update on the future of the ongoing partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling. In January 2025, WWE and TNA announced a multi-year partnership, leading to crossover opportunities for talents from both companies.
Since then, several NXT Superstars have held TNA gold, while TNA wrestlers have competed several times on WWE TV. The Hardy Boyz, who are the reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions, won the NXT Tag Team Title last year and also competed at NXT Halloween Havoc. Additionally, Joe Hendry competed against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41, Moose recently challenged Ethan Page for the North American Title at Deadline, and Leon Slater competed at Saturday Night’s Main Event, which featured John Cena’s farewell bout. The current X-Division Champion is now set to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil.
With TNA Wrestling landing a TV deal with AMC Networks, many wondered about the future of the partnership between WWE and the Nashville-based company, even as TNA President Carlos Silva asserted that it would continue in 2026. Bodyslam+ is now reporting that sources close to the companies indicate that the partnership will indeed continue until at least 2028.
Both companies are reportedly pleased with how the collaboration has panned out and are aware of the endless opportunities that it has created for talents across promotions to expand their base.
