WWE Tryout Regina Tarin Set To Make UFC Debut This Weekend

Regina Tarin, who attended a WWE tryout earlier this year, will make her UFC debut this coming weekend in Mexico. As Fightful notes, Tarin is has taken a short notice fight for UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs. Kavanagh which takes place on Saturday. Tarin will compete against Ernesta Kareckaite, who was originally set to face Sofia Montenegro. Montenegro withdrew from the fight for as-yet-undisclosed reasons; the fight will take place on the preliminary card for the show.
Tarin has a 7 – 0 record in MMA and will be competing against Kareckaite at 130 pounds. She was part of the WWE tryouts in January at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. She posted to Instagram to comment on the fight, writing:
“God’s plans are perfect and good people always have good things happen
This Saturday is my debut in UFC Mexico people
I’m going to give it all I’m ready and it’s my time”
UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs. Kavanagh, aka UFC Mexico, takes place on Saturday from Arena CDMX in Mexico City. The show airs live on Paramount+, and 411 will have live coverage of the show as per usual.
