411’s WWE Table for 3: NXT Life Report

-Original air date: Oct 28, 2015

-The theme this time is NXT and joining the table is Samoa Joe, Neville, and Bo Dallas.

-Neville is already chewing on an apple before they even get their dinner. Bo wants to know everyone’s journey to NXT and Neville starts since he has the apple. He worked his way up through Europe and Japan. He tried to make a name for himself by doing moves that not a lot of people could do besides a guy named Jack Evans. Joe brings up that he had heard about a game named Pac tearing things up and they met at a ROH show in England. Neville came over to the states and started working in LA.

-Joe gives a quick story on his background as he was in UPW, which was kind of an affiliate to the WWE, and where he would often work with John Cena (before he ended up in the WWE). From there he went to Japan to work for Zero-One and when he came back to the States he ended up in ROH. From there he kicked around places and wound up in the WWE. Obviously no TNA brought up.

-Bo’s turn as he was born into the business and always wanted to be a wrestler, but he was told he needed to go to college first. Bo had issues in college and his dad finally let him chase the dream of becoming a wrestler. He was 18 when he started in FCW, and he says what it became with NXT is ridiculous. Neville agrees as he joined the back end of FCW and it is night and day with what NXT has become.

-Bo asks about the biggest shock coming to work for WWE/NXT and for Joe it is how refined everything is. He thought he ran a slick dojo, and thought they had the best in the world until he saw the Performance Center. He was relieved to see how amazing the place was and Neville agrees with him. Neville says FCW was a great place, but NXT is another level.

-They keep the talk going on the Performance Center, and Neville brings up working for Japan and how nobody cares much about the character or mic skills. That was the biggest shock for him as he had to find a proper character.

-They talk about how much of a mentor Dusty Rhodes was, and discuss how he knew what each guy/girl needed down there to get the best out of them.

-Neville and Bo discuss being NXT Champion and Neville rubs in the fact that he was champion 7 days longer. Neville enjoyed working with the guys in NXT and got to face some WWE guys that came down like RVD.

-Bo talks about how he was in the Rumble a few months before winning the NXT Title and he thought he was ready. He didn’t think he needed anymore time in NXT and figured he knew everything, which he admits was so wrong. That year back in NXT where he was champion taught him so much and he was able to utilize The Performance Center.

-Joe says that anytime you are The Champion of a Promotion you put extra pressure on yourself, and asks Bo how old he was when he thought he had everything figured out. Bo says he was 22-23 and Joe says at the same age he felt the same way. He thought he knew everything until he sat down with William Regal and after 3 meeting he realized he didn’t know anything. Neville says being champion is like having a baby as you aren’t sure if you are ready, but when it comes you have to step up.

-They start talking stories and Joe says that he has heard that Bo and Neville were some legit rappers. He knows Cena can spit some rhymes, but wants to hear the story of these two. Neville says they had a rap group that came together out of boredom, and Woods was the DJ. Neville saying “busting rhymes” with his accent is hilarious and has Joe and Bo dying. He says the group produced a full song and says they can’t perform here as it is a little to racy for Table for 3.

-They talk about Neville’s shirt and how he has it buttoned all the way to the top. He says that seems to be an American issue as in other countries they have no problem with it. Bo and Joe rag on him a bit about it and say that it isn’t practical as it can choke him.

-Neville asks Joe what his goals are and right now he just wants to lay back and help NXT as much as he can. Obviously, the goal is always to win the big one, but he is just sitting back to see things. Neville talks about how NXT is becoming a big deal as they are selling out Brooklyn the night before SummerSlam.

-Joe says he has been lucky to join companies just as they are ready to take off and it is happening again with NXT. They talk about how NXT is different from the WWE and is promoted as something different.

-Joe wants to know about the feud the two of them had in NXT. Neville says they have been described as an odd couple and Bo says they are polar opposites. Bo talks about them being part of the Main Event of the first NXT Live Special. They didn’t know what to expect, but it is something nobody can take away from them.

-Joe talks about how working with a guy so much that you can click, and start realizing when something wrong is happening. Neville brings up a story of them working in Malaysia and how he hit The Red Arrow a bit different and he knew he caught Bo wrong. So as he was posing he could hear Bo cussing him out and was doing it the entire way up the ramp. He was so mad that he didn’t want the boys talking him down which causes them all to laugh.

-Neville’s dream is to hit Bo hard enough with The Red Arrow that he will shit his pants. Nasty! He especially wants to do it since Bo is always wearing white trunks. Neville also wants to have another feud with Bo on the Main Roster, and hopes they give them that chance.

-They wrap things up with Bo trying to steal Neville’s cornbread and Joe chides him about it as apparently a man doesn’t let another steal his cornbread. If you have seen the movie “Life” then you will know what Joe means.

-Solid episode, but nothing too exciting. The stories were okay, but it just seemed Joe was a little out of place at this point since he was just coming into NXT. Joe talking to Balor and Owens about NXT now would be something amazing.

-Next we get 2nd generation Divas.
