Various News: Orton’s Twitter Trending, Linda Campaign News, More

August 10, 2010 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

– Randy Orton has been one of the top three trending topics on Twitter for the last four weeks. Of note is the fact that it’s only Orton; no WWE-related topics or wrestlers are trending beyond him.

– Dick Morris, who was an advisor to the Clintons and a consultant for 2008 presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, appeared on the Sean Hannity show on Fox News and said he would not write off Linda McMahon’s senatorial campaign. Two weeks ago he did a column where he predicted which Senate seats would be won by Republicans and left Linda’s name off the list, meaning that he seems more confident of her chances now. It is worth noting that Morris was once represented by WWE lawyer Jerry McDevitt.

– Colt Cabana did an audio interview where he talked about ROH, how the World’s Greatest Tag Team can’t keep up with Kings of Wrestling, doing stand-up and more. You can check that out here.

— Dolph Ziggler kicked off “WWE Superstar Karaoke Week” last night as a promotion for SummerSlam on the George Lopez show, singing Right Said Fred’s “I’m Too Sexy.” You can check out the video below:
