Tremendous Tirades Throwback: TNA Unbreakable 2005

We are live in Orlando Fl. as Shane Douglas and Jeremy Borash open up the pre-show. Borash says, “I can’t believe who is here, and what the fans will see!” They run down the PPV card and apparently the NWA Title match will now be a “Raven’s Rules” match!

Traci is in the back with Larry Z! He says it is a hectic time for him, and Rumors don’t even fit the reality. He says they have awesome talent, and more wants in. They discuss the NWA Title match, and Larry says they are sick of Raven crying and he needs to be a man, and they have granted him his request. The best man will win.

JB and Shane hype the PPV and then say the fans are crazy!

Tenay and West welcome us and say that TNA will keep their hot streak of awesome PPV’s going. They pimp the card, and I think West says we get a free Tiger Woods gold stamp card if we order the PPV!

PPV Pre-Match A: Cassidy Riley vs. Jerrelle Clark

Lock up to start and Riley in control. Reversals and a tilt a whirl escape by Clark. Riley has him, tries a powerbomb, but Clark escapes and hits arm drags. More reversals and they stand off. Clothesline by Riley as Clark celebrates. Rights to Clark. Back springboard elbow by Riley and he poses ala Raven. Monty Brown is here! Drop kick by Clark. Monty in, Riley bails…CLOTHESLINE by Monty!

JJ is out! He is in his ring gear as well and heads to the ring. He says he hopes Monty didn’t say what he said. JJ says Monty is in his ring and stole his thunder! Monty says he will do as he pleases. JJ says he is messed up because of the NFL starting, and there are more unemployed wrestlers backstage than on the actual PPV. JJ says they are here to steal their job. JJ says Monty is where he is because of JJ. JJ says everything is because of him. JJ is serious, and they now have a problem. Monty says they Do have a problem. JJ may have brought him to the dance, but Monty took care of business.

Kip James I out now! They argue and JJ says he came here for one reason, to put himself on the card. Possession is 9/10ths of the law, and Oct. 1st he will have the NWA title one way or another. Not Nash, Not AJ, Not Sting, Not Abyss, no one! He deserves to be wearing the title, and no one else.

Jeff Hardy is here, it’s an IMAGINATION party. He and JJ brawl! Rights back and forth and Hardy tosses JJ to the floor. Top rope…MISSES JJ and KILLS himself on the guardrail! JJ now has a chair and beats him down. Back in the ring and JJ with knees. Stroke try, reversal and a SICK DDT to JJ on a steel chair! Kip James pulls JJ out of the ring and Hardy stands tall.

Traci is with AJ backstage. She says AJ has his shot at the X Title. AJ says he has had great battles with both men, and they are both great. Three years ago there was one man who rose above the rest, redefined the sport, on e individual who was the new face of wrestling. Come Oct. 1st, he will be the man with the title.

PPV Pre-Match B: Mikey Batts vs. Sharky

Lock up and Sharky to the corner, Batts slaps him and Sharky chases him and Batts bails to the floor. Back in and a slap by Sharky. Rights by Sharky and then chops. Knee buster to Batts and Sharky in control now. Sharky with the corner mount, 9 punches and the…SHARK BITE! Irish whip by Sharky, but a reversal and a drop toehold by Batts takes Sharky down. Batts chokes him and then delivers rights. Rights by Sharky now and a clothesline by Batts. Enziguri by Batts, but misses a springboard leg drop. Atomic drop and Shark Bite by Sharky. Batts to the floor followed by a plancha by Sharky. Chops by Sharky on the floor to Batts. Back in, Sharky up top…but Batts shoves the ref and Sharky pretends he got crotched! DEAD SEA DROP and Sharky wins!

Match #1 The Diamonds in the Rough (Elix Skipper, David Young and Simon Diamond) vs. The 3LK (Ron Killings, Konnan and BG James)

Konnan and BG make up and they go retro with the intros! Poor Konnan is STILL looking for his dogs. I do still love the BG intro.

Elix and BG to start. Kicks by Elix and he takes out the legs of BG. Snap mare and a stiff kick by Elix. Boots to the head by Elix, off the ropes and BG ducks, and gets the juke and jive rights, shaky knee drop for 2. Tag to Young and then to Killings. Double team elbow and they dance and then stomp the shit out of Young! Wristlock by Killings, tag to BG and rights to Young. Simon in and he slaps Elix to motivate him! Young and BG battle and Elix flies in with a spin kick on BG. They work him over in their corner and Simon is in control. GO COACH SIMON! Back elbow by Simon and a cover for 2. Young in now and rights to BG. A head butt now and then a tag to Simon. BG off the ropes and the collide and both men are down. Konnan and Young get tagged din. Konnan all over him, DDT to Elix. Hip toss to Simon. BG in and then to the floor. Rolling thunder to Simon and a shoe toss to Young. Face jam to Young and that is all.

Match #2 Showcase Match: Austin Aries vs. Roderick Strong

Lock up and Aries with a headlock, reversals and onto some mat work. Hey put over that they are partners in ROH. Strong with an arm drag, wristlock now and reversals. Aries with a side headlock but Strong escapes and then Aries gets a basement dropkick. Off the ropes and Aries take shim down. Reversals again and Strong takes him down and tries the Boston Crab, but Aries escapes. Knee by Strong and then clubbing rights. Irish whip reversal and Aries to the apron and Strong has him and a back breaker and a SICK toss into the corner and Strong gets 2. Boots by Strong now, and a back breaker again by Strong who covers for 2. Stiff Irish whip and Aries is down. Strong locks in a full nelson with his legs and rolls him for a cover of 2. Snap mare and rear choke by Strong. Aries fights to his feet and then EATS a dropkick and Strong covers for another 2! Chops by Strong, lefts back by Aries. Chops back and forth and a clothesline by Aries! Elbows and a cover for 2 by Aries. Aries off the ropes and a stunner over the ropes to Strong. Sling shot spinning splash by Aries for 2. Arties tries the Brain buster…blocked and Strong with a cool back breaker for 2! Press slam into a toss into Strong’s knees gets 2! That was sweet. Crowd is LOVING this match. Strong picks up Aries, small package by Aries gets 2. Clothesline by Strong. Boston Crab try, slingshot into the corner by Strong. Kick by Aries, BRAIN BUSTA! Aries up top…450 TO STRONG! That’s it!

Monty and Kip argue as to who will start. Kip is in and so is Hoyt. Lock up and reversals. Wristlock by Kip, off the ropes and he takes Hoyt down. Off the ropes again and they keep countering and Hoyt finally with a hip toss for 1. Kip and Monty converse on the floor and Kip back in. Boot by Kip and a tag to Monty. They argue as Hoyt got away and Hoyt takes down Monty. Shops now and off the ropes and a sidewalk slam to Monty gets 2. Tag to Apollo and he gets an arm bar to Monty. Rights by Monty now and then chops. Apollo with chops now and off the ropes, and a boot to Monty. Clothesline to Monty and Apollo covers for 2. Tag to Hoyt and off the ropes and a double elbow to Monty. Cover and a 2 count for Hoyt. Rights by Hoyt and Monty is in trouble and eats a clothesline. Kip in with a blind tag and Monty nails Hoyt and Kip slams him down, followed by a neck breaker. Tag to Monty and he’s in with rights to the ribs of Hoyt. Tenay says Shocker’s booking got changed by AAA, and so TNA changed the match.

Match #4 Petey Williams vs. Chris Sabin

Lock up and a wristlock by Sabin. Snap mare by Sabin and a roll up for 2. Arm drags and an arm bar by Sabin. Sabin is tossed to the floor, but pulls Williams out and gets a RANA on the floor. Williams back in and Sabin with a springing back elbow. They battle to the ring apron and Sabin slams Williams off of it. Sabin charges off the apron but Williams moves and Sabin eats the railing. Back in the ring and Williams covers for 2. Forearm shots by Williams, tree of woe…OHHHHHH CAAAAAANNNNNNADA Nut Stomp! Williams covers and gets 2. Williams pulls Sabin to his feet, and gets a side back breaker for 2. Sabin with rights tries to fight back, clothesline by Sabin. Off the ropes and a kick by Sabin. Sabu may be a hardcore icon, but not even he can withstand a collision with the weapon of mass destruction. Mitchell says he will make it a no DQ match to give Sabu a chance, but when he comes into the ring, he will be signing his own death warrant.

Rights by Sabu, and Abyss just shakes them off. Abyss takes him down and just beats on him with clubbing rights. Off the ropes and Sabu fires back. Big boot by Abyss. Chops by Abyss now. Irish whip and a boot by Sabu. Overhead belly to belly by Abyss! To the floor goes Sabu, and he has a chair. Abyss steps on it and picks it up, but Sabu wit a drop toehold and Abyss falls on it. Cover by Sabu gets 2. Set up and a springboard into a clothesline and both men to the floor! TABLE TIME! Sabu sets it up, but a leg broke. Abyss fights back, and rams Sabu to the steel railing. Abyss gets a FRESH table! Sets it up and tosses Sabu back in the ring. Plancha by Sabu as Abyss was still on the floor doing construction. Tenay and West play up that Waltman is known for no showing and being crazy. They say he should be there for Shelley, but he isn’t.

Match #6 Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy

Roode attacks before the bell and here we go! Rights to Jeff and then Jeff fires back. Clothesline to Roode. Dropkick to Roode and he falls to the floor. Baseball slide dropkick by Jeff. Plancha to Roode! Roode slammed off of the steel steps, back in the ring and Jeff covers for 2. Jeff climbs to try the whisper in the wind moonsault, but Roode pulls him off and beats the heroin out of him. Corner clothesline by Roode, and then tries another but Jeff with a boot. Off the ropes and a tilt a whirl back breaker by Roode for 2. Roode chokes Jeff on the ropes, and then yells at the crowd. Surfboard by Roode, and Jeff escapes but Roode chops away at him. Sunset flip by Jeff gets 2. Dropkick by Roode and he covers for 2. Knees to Jeff, off the ropes and a knee again. And another to Jeff. Backdrop suplex by Roode gets 2. They brawl on the floor and Roode is tossed into the steps. Back in the ring and Petey tries to take out Jeff, and JJJ is out and LEVELS Jeff three times with the hockey stick! Rolls him back in and Roode covers for the win!

Storm says it is only over when they say it is over. Sorry about your damn luck.

The Candido family is at ringside. No Tammy for anyone wondering. No Waltman. Douglas has the Candido towel and gives it to Chris’s father. Very cool, Candido’s father looked moved.

Match #7 Elimination Tag Title Match: The Naturals (Douglas and Stevens) © w/Jimmy Hart vs. AMW (Harris and Storm) vs. Team Canada (A1 and Young) vs. Alex Shelley

Brawling to start between AMW and the Naturals. Storm and Stevens are in and Storm kicks his damn head off. Shelley sneaks in and covers for 2. Another roll up for 2. Backdrop suplex for 2. Forearms to Stevens, off the ropes andA1 nails Shelley. Eric in and Shelley rolls him up for 2. Tag to A1 and he and Eric beat down Shelley. Chops by A1 now, and then a suplex for 2. Rake of the face to Shelley, then a tag to Eric. Elbow to Shelley. Cover and a 2 count on Shelley. Front face lock by Eric and Shelley to his feet. He tries to tag someone, but they refuse! Shelley rammed to the corner and A1 now works him over with shoulder thrusts. A1 chokes him out now, and Shelley is in trouble. Shelley tries to tag, no luck and Eric is tagged back in. Double team by TC and a STUNNER/DDT combo! Johnny Candido jumps the rail and is on the apron! TAG TO CANDIDO! Enziguri to A1! LOW BLOW by Eric to Candido and he pins him! Shelley and Candido eliminated at 5:30.

Douglas and Eric in, but Storm gets tagged in. Cowboy hat on, 8 second ride to Eric! Powerslam to A1. Whirly bird to Eric! Off the ropes, and A1 nails Storm. They work over Storm on the floor and back in Eric with a snap suplex to Storm for 2. A1 chokes out Storm now. Storm is trapped in the corner and A1 just clubs away on him. Tag to Eric now and they work him over, and then boots by Eric. A1 pulls Storm to the floor and rams him to the post as Harris tries to save his partner. Storm back in and Eric covers for 2. Snap mare to Storm followed by the rear choke. Storm is down and tries to battle to his feet. He does and escapes, but is slammed down and covered for 2. A1 tagged back in and he clubs away on Storm. Tag back to Eric, reversals and Storm gets a desperation Superkick! Tag to Harris! Lariat to Eric! Nails the naturals and A1! Knee by A1, off the ropes…Thez press to A1! Off the ropes and a bulldog to A1! Catatonic try, stopped and A1 gets the suplex, reversed and a stalling suplex on A1…and down for a cover of 2. AMW clears house and A1 nails Harris with the hockey stick and Eric covers Harris for the pin @ 12:53.

Down to TC and the champs now. Stevens covers Eric for 2. Tag to Douglas and they work the ribs of Eric. Off the ropes and A1 nails Douglas and Eric now chokes him out. Rights by Eric, Douglas fights back and tries a crucifix, but Eric drops down and then covers for 2. Eric rams him to the corner, and then tosses him to the floor. Hart checks on him and then gets shoved down. Stevens checks on him as Douglas got covered for 2. Eric takes him off the ropes and Douglas is able to get the high knee. He crawls for the tag…and gets it! Stevens in with rights for all. Alabama slam to Eric for 2! A1 in and Stevens fights him off, but A1 gets a STIFF powerbomb on Stevens! Douglas back in and tries a suplex…but A1 sets him on the top rope. A1 climbs up…but is tossed off. Eric in and climbs…SUPERPLEX to Douglas! He covers Stevens and gets 2. Legal man baby. They beat them down with boots and Eric up top…they try a doomsday, but Hart up and crotches Eric! NATURAL DISASTER finishes it.

Raven has a chain and Rhino a kendo stick and they play chase. Raven tosses a trashcan at Rhino and that seems to anger him. In the ring and they both have KENDO STICKS! Stick fight and Raven with rights now. Crutch shot to Rhino and he choke shim with it. Rhino back with boots to Raven, and then chokes him with num chucks. PIZZA CUTTER to Rhino! WE WANT PIZZA chant! Raven with cookie sheets now, and then chokes out a BUSTED OPEN Rhino! Cookie sheets of mild discomfort! TO the floor they go and they brawl beside the ramp. Raven has a ladder now. Slides that in the ring and Rhino is bleeding badly. Rhino nails Raven with a…BEER KEG! Kendo stick shots by Raven now. Back in the ring and Rhino does have the CRIMSON MASK! More cane shots and Raven covers for 2. Ankle lock by Raven as the blood flows from Rhino. Rhino fights and gets the ropes. Rights by Rhino and he has a chair. On the floor and a shot to Raven. Trashcan now and waffles Raven with it. Back in the ring and Rhino with boots to Raven. Raven is busted open now and Rhino continues to attack. Trashcan set on Raven and Rhino with a running boot! Face wash by Rhino. Raven gets the Ankle lock again and tries to grape wine the leg. Rhino fights for the ropes, to his feet and nails Raven with the trashcan. STAPLE GUN! STAPLE TO RAVEN! AGAIN! Rhino with a chair and he just murders Raven with it. Rhino up top…MISSES the splash and eats a chair! To their feet and they exchange rights and Raven is on fire and levels Rhino. Clothesline to Rhino. Running knee lift by Raven. Corner clothesline bulldog combo by Raven gets 2. Raven with the chair now, sets it up…but Rhino just grabs him and slams him into the chair and covers for 2. Cassidy Riley is out. DDT by Raven, and only gets 2 because of Riley. He says he is sorry and Raven looks pissed. Rhino nails Raven with the ladder. Rhino sets up the ladder on a chair…and Raven POWERBOMBS RHINO ON IT! 2 count only. Raven lays the ladder on the second rope, and Rhino SLAMS it into Raven’s face! DAYUM! Rhino in to cover…1…2…NO! Rhino goes to the floor and grabs the grocery cart and hits Raven.
